Job summary

Goodwin Living is a nonprofit senior living and healthcare organization based in Alexandria, Virginia, seeking caring CNAs to support residents with daily living activities and independent tasks. You will follow individualized care plans and engage residents with respect and empathy in a supportive work environment.

Requirements include a Virginia CNA license, CPR certification, and at least one year of CNA experience.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license with the Virginia Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Goodwin Living residents with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, grooming, dressing, locomotion, feeding) in accordance with individualized care plan.
• Assist Goodwin Living residents with independent activities of daily living (e.g., light meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders) in accordance with individualized care plan.
• Assist resident in meeting their personal care needs and provided individualized attention while encouraging resident involvement in self-care.

Schedule: Day Shift (7 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

Pay: Up to $22.50 per hour depending on department!

Job Requirements

• Current CNA license with the Virginia Board of Nursing
