Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock is seeking a PRN CMA to provide care management support, assist OB/Gyn clinicians, and perform routine exams and documentation in the EMR.

The role requires a CMA certification, BLS, a High School diploma, and at least two years of related experience. Spanish reading/writing is preferred. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with PRN hours; compensation is commensurate with qualifications. Join a dedicated team at Combest Center Lbk.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an approved CMA program with certification.
• Minimum two years of related clinical experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish.
• Experience using EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide care management support and refer patients to resources to promote continuity of care.
• Assist OB/Gyn physician and RN; perform exams and document in EMR.
• Take and record vital signs and measurements.
• Disinfect and prepare equipment for examinations and procedures.
