Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Major: Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Maintains imaging quality and adheres to safety standards and procedures.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and explain tests.
• Positions patients, prepares areas, and adjusts equipment as needed.
• Follows infection-control and radiation policies to protect patients and staff.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality standards.
• Reports issues and assists with supplies inventory.
• Screens individuals entering the department per policies.
• Maintains medical imaging records in the department system.
