Job summary

NHC HomeCare Anderson is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time PRN role in Anderson, SC. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver and document therapy services and support the patient’s goals.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited OTA program, licensed in South Carolina, and ideally members of state/national OT associations. This team emphasizes encouragement, collaboration, and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program (as certified by AOTA).
• Licensed as an OTA in the practicing state.
• Active member of state and/or national OT associations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services as directed and supervised by the OT and ordered by the physician.
• Assists the OT with evaluation of progress toward goals.
• Observes, records and reports conditions, reactions and responses related to assigned duties.
• Maintains daily treatment records and progress notes as directed by the therapist.
