Brookshire Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brookshire, TX is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide high-quality care to residents in our long-term care and rehabilitation setting. You will administer medications according to physician orders, monitor for adverse effects, and report observations to nursing supervisors.

The ideal candidate holds CMA certification, may need CNA certification per state rules, and has experience with geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold CMA certification in good standing in the state of employment.
• Current CNA certification may be required per state regulations.
• Experience with geriatric residents is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications to residents accurately per physician orders and state regulations.
• Document medication administration and maintain accurate medication records.
• Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report findings to nursing supervisors.
• Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials.
• Answer patients' call lights and requests.
• Report observations to nursing supervisors.
• Complete forms, reports, logs, and records.
