UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a PRN Cardiovascular Nurse with EP/cardiac device experience to join our outpatient practice. The role includes assisting the Cardiologist and APPs with procedures, and supervising stress tests in a busy cardiology clinic.

Requires active RN license with BLS and ACLS certification and 1+ year cardiology or ICU/CCU experience. Schedule: PRN; Day shift, Mon–Thurs 8:30am–5pm, Fri 8am–4:30pm; location at 908 N Elm St, Hinsdale, IL 60521.

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing activities and assists cardiology procedures.
• Supervises nuclear/stress tests and related cardiac tests in outpatient setting.
• Reads and interprets electrocardiograms and adjusts pacemaker/defibrillator devices with Cardiologist input.
• Maintains sterile technique and provides post-procedural follow-up care.
• Maintains patient safety and supports physicians during treatment and testing.
