Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Hurricane, Utah is seeking a PRN Behavioral Health Associate to support adolescent boys ages 12-17 in residential treatment. You’ll assist with daily routines, emotional regulation, life skills, and structured programming on-site.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, maintaining a safe environment, building rapport with students, coordinating with therapists, and documenting updates. Familiarity with safety protocols and crisis response is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass Utah State background check and obtain Food Handler’s Permit before starting.
• CPR/First Aid training or willingness to be trained.
• Experience in crisis de-escalation and safety support.

Responsibilities

• Support adolescents in residential treatment through daily routines, activities, meals, groups, and skill-building.
• Help maintain a safe, structured environment through supervision, prevention, de-escalation, and crisis response.
• Build rapport with clients while upholding boundaries and respect.
• Partner with therapists and treatment teams to support each student’s goals.
• Complete accurate documentation and communicate updates to the team.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a supportive home environment.
