Job summary

Goldman Sachs Wealth Management is seeking a product manager to help modernize and reinvent the digital platform for advisors and clients in New York. You will work on crafting intuitive, user-centric products and gain hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle.

Join a team of creative professionals to write requirements, manage project execution, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and test features you bring to market. Relevant finance or tech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1–2 years in product management, engineering, or the financial services sector (ideally in Wealth Management).
• Ability to quickly pick up new concepts and become a subject matter expert in certain products or processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead calls and trainings, and adjust content according to the respective audience.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize differing requirements.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative and identify potential risks, issues, and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for engineering development.
• Translate PWM business goals into actionable product specifications.
• Partner with colleagues in Engineering, Design, Operations, and Program Management to support the delivery of user-centric features.
• Solicit stakeholder input and coordinate amongst multiple groups to inform requirements, including Business, Legal, and Compliance.
• Become familiar with analytics and data used to measure product success and usage.
• Parse larger product feature projects into smaller components while understanding dependencies.
