Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Wealth Strategist to partner with Private Wealth Advisors, bringing new client relationships above $10M into Private Wealth Management.

You’ll guide client discovery, collaborate with specialists, and act as a SME in estate, tax, and fiduciary strategies to grow PWM in the local market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Typically 10+ years of wealth management experience with high/ultra-high net worth clients.
  • JD degree preferred.
  • Strong attention to details and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and bring new client relationships generally above $10MM net worth into Private Wealth Management.
  • Assist with client discovery and deepen existing client relationships.
  • Collaborate with Wealth Strategists and wealth management specialists to meet client wealth planning needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in estate and income tax planning, protection planning, and fiduciary advice.
  • Grow PWM business within assigned market using professional network.

Job Description

The PWM Wealth Strategist is responsible for working with Private Wealth Advisors to develop and bring new client relationships generally above $10MM net worth into Private Wealth Management. Helps with client discovery and works with wealth management specialists to deepen and broaden relationships with existing clients. The Wealth Strategist will work closely with other members of the relationship team to meet all of client’s wealth planning, estate planning and wealth transfer needs. Will serve as a subject matter expert in estate and income tax planning, protection planning, business succession planning, philanthropic strategies, and trust and fiduciary advice. Leverages thorough knowledge of all Wealth products offered by U.S. Bank, including fiduciary products, to identify and implement strategies working with client's external and internal advisors. Focuses to grow the PWM business within assigned Market by utilizing established professional network in the local and/or regional market.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically 10 or more years of wealth management experience with high/ultra-high net worth clients
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree preferred
  • Strong attention to details
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Broad knowledge of fiduciary, tax or estate planning products, services, and strategies
  • Experience drafting or reviewing estate or business documents
  • Strong sales and business development acumen

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $139,230.00 - $163,800.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
