Job summary

Capital Group seeks a Private Wealth Consultant in the Outsourced Advisory Solutions (OAS) team to drive sales with financial advisors across a defined region. You will partner with CG/PCS salesforces to close complex high-net-worth opportunities, sourcing new accounts and guiding onboarding and due diligence with internal specialists.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, Series 65, and preferred CFP/CFA/CPWA designations, with strong executive presence and client-focused collaboration.

  • Outstanding professional experience and industry knowledge in private wealth and HNW markets.
  • Proven track record leading sales and building relationships with financial advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the OAS sales process in your territory by partnering with CG/PCS salesforces.
  • Source new opportunities and own the sales process from discovery to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Investment Specialists for due diligence and portfolio solutions.

The Outsourced Advisory Solutions (OAS) team is responsible for enhancing connectivity between PCS and Capital Group's expansive financial advisor network.


The OAS Private Wealth Consultant (PWC) has responsibility for leveraging the CG brand through Capital Group wholesalers and financial intermediary channels to attract and retain HNW assets. The Private Wealth Consultant will grow OAS sales by partnering with Capital Group's sales force to help advisors close complex high net worth sales. The PWC will serve as a critical bridge between Capital Group's family office infrastructure and Capital Group's Wealth Management and Institutional Retirement business.

As a Private Wealth Consultant (PWC), you will lead the OAS sales process in your territory by partnering with the Capital Group and PCS salesforces. Together you will identify advisors who need help acquiring and servicing the complex needs of high-net-worth households and will work directly with advisors to close business. You will source new opportunities and you will own the sales process, working in close partnership with the OAS Relationship Managers for new account discovery and onboarding, as well as the OAS Investment Specialist for due diligence, and portfolio solutions.

  • You have outstanding professional experience and industry knowledge, including a deep understanding of the HNW market, private wealth , and financial advisor needs.

  • You have a proven record of success as a leader in sales, with a demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with colleagues and external advisors.

  • You are credible and influential, possessing strong executive presence and professional maturity.

  • You are collaborative, partnering seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

  • You have a minimum of a Bachelors' degree, with additional designations CIMA, CFP, CFA or CPWA strongly preferred. Series 65 required.


We are actively seeking candidates based in Los Angeles with defined regional coverage that will require substantial field-based travel.


The base salary for this role is $130,000-$210,000 + applicable bonuses.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
