Zohorecruit is assisting a Dallas, TX-based, fee-only fiduciary portfolio management firm in finding an Investment Counselor. You will manage relationships with high-net-worth clients, discuss top-down portfolio strategy, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

The role emphasizes ongoing market education, proactive client engagement, and a transparent compensation package with potential discretionary bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of client relationship management within the financial industry.
• Current Investment Advisor Representative designation, OR Series 65, OR Series 7/66 combo, OR equivalent designations.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive market knowledge with a client-focused, consultative approach.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the voice of the client and partner with portfolio decision-makers to deliver best-in-class service.
• Acquire deeper market education and guidance from your group manager for personalized career development.
• Build trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients and educate them on top-down portfolio strategy and market events.
• Meet with clients quarterly to review asset allocation and progress toward long-term goals.
• Leverage a defined sales team to grow a roster of high-net-worth clients and discuss portfolios and investments.
