PLAY TENNIS ACADEMY is seeking an experienced Private Tennis Instructor for one-on-one lessons in Charleston. Instructors will earn through a competitive commission structure, providing personalized tennis coaching tailored to participant skills and goals.

Responsibilities include teaching fundamentals, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring engaging lesson experiences while working within the community. Candidates should have prior tennis instruction experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Prior tennis instruction or coaching experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, rules, and technique.
Strong communication and reliability.
Ability to provide a safe, welcoming, and professional experience.
Comfortable working with children and/or adults of varying skill levels.

Responsibilities

Provide private tennis lessons tailored to each participant's experience level and goals.
Teach fundamentals, technique, footwork, rally skills, serving, scoring, and match play as appropriate.
Create a positive, professional, and engaging lesson experience.
Communicate availability clearly with the Play Academy team.
Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled lessons.
Maintain professionalism when interacting with residents and community staff.
Notify Play Academy in advance of any scheduling conflicts.
