Job summary

PIMCO invites applications for its 2027 Summer Internship in Private Strategies, located at our New York, NY office. The 10-week program includes fundamentals training, exposure to AI-powered tools, and mentorship from seasoned Portfolio Managers.

Successful interns may be considered for a two-year rotational track and transition bonuses to support relocation to a PIMCO office. Applicants must be undergraduates with strong academics and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
• Must be able to begin full-time employment Jan 2028 – Aug 2028.
• Must be enrolled Fall 2027 semester (Aug 2027 – Dec 2027).
• Have a minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Business proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Private Strategies team with financial modeling and analysis.
• Assist in sourcing, evaluating, underwriting and managing investments.
• Contribute to research and generation of investment ideas.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and associates on day-to-day tasks.
• Participate in the 10-week internship program and rotational opportunities.
