Overview

Northeast Digestive Health Center is located in Concord, North Carolina - a short distance from Charlotte and Lake Norman. Charlotte is home to the Carolina Panthers, NASCAR Hall of Fame, and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Lake Norman is one of the best watersport areas in North Carolina. These prime locations are not only very family‑friendly but provide quick access to the mountains or coast. Practice Details

We are a well‑established private gastroenterology group comprised of 12 physicians and 9 physician assistants. The practice has three office locations: two in Concord, both with clinic and endoscopy areas operating three fully owned and accredited endoscopy rooms; and a third in Salisbury with a clinic and joint‑venture endoscopy center with two accredited rooms. The group follows a hospitalist style call coverage schedule of one week of call coverage every 11 weeks, supported with one physician assistant at a nearby 454‑bed tertiary care hospital.

Clinical Services

The practice offers a full complement of GI services including capsule imaging, infusion, and pathology, and operates on a fully computerized EMR system implemented 15 years ago.

Working Hours

Typical schedule: Monday‑Thursday 7:30 AM‑5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM‑2:00 PM.

Call Requirements

• PM call: one night per week
• Call week: once every 11th week

• Conveniently located close to Lake Norman just outside Charlotte; beaches on the east coast and the Blue Ridge Mountains to the west
• About 2 hours from Raleigh, Durham, Asheville, and Boone; less than 4 hours from Atlanta, GA, Wilmington, NC, and Charleston, SC
• Mild to hot summers, mild to moderately cold winters, occasional snow
