Job Title

Private Practice Breast Imaging Radiologist – New Lenox, Illinois

Overview

Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is seeking a dedicated onsite breast imaging radiologist to join our growing team. The position is based at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Illinois. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of breast cancer providers – breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology and other specialty areas – to provide individualized care.

Schedule & Working Conditions

Monday – Friday onsite with a rotating weekend schedule for reading breast imaging studies from home. No general radiology call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms.
• Perform and interpret breast ultrasound, breast MRI and ABUS.
• Participate in ultrasound and MRI guided breast procedures.
• Optionally contribute to additional diagnostic imaging responsibilities as per candidate’s experience and interests.
• Collaborate with the CIRA footprint to seek additional breast imaging services as needed.
