Job summary

Homrich Berg in Atlanta, GA seeks a Private Markets Analyst Intern to support the investment team in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. This paid internship runs May 24, 2027 through July 30, 2027 at our Buckhead office, with in-person work five days a week.

You will assist with pipeline research, due diligence, and memo writing while gaining exposure to private debt and equity opportunities. Candidates must be rising seniors with strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Investment Pipeline Support
• Generate profiles on pre-identified Private Debt and Private Equity managers using materials and research
• Present opportunities to the team and recommend for due diligence
• Attend due diligence meetings and take notes for Investment team members
• Write sections of final Investment Committee memos about new investments
• Assist with research projects to identify actionable opportunities by asset class or geography
• Miscellaneous Private Investment Support
• Attend investment manager calls/meetings to take notes
• Participate in weekly Private Debt & Equity Committee meetings
• Review fund materials to develop investment recommendation skills
• Assist with due diligence and benchmarking tasks
• Capstone project and presentation at internship end

What We’re Looking For

HB Wealth Management is seeking (1) Private Markets Analyst Internto work in our Buckhead, GA corporate office. This position will assist the Investment Team in accomplishing the overall goal of serving our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a strong, fun team! This is a paid internship, beginning May 24, 2027, and running through July 30, 2027.

Your Job Responsibilities

Investment Pipeline Support

• Using fund marketing materials & independent research to generate profiles on pre-identified Private Debt and Private Equity managers
• Presenting investment opportunities to the team as they enter the pipeline and recommending opportunities for due diligence
• Participating in due diligence meetings with Private Debt and Private Equity managers and taking meeting notes for Private Investment team members
• Writing sections of final Investment Committee memos about new potential investments
• Interns may be involved in research projects to identify actionable investment opportunities within a particular asset class, sector, and/or geography.

Miscellaneous Private Investment Support

• Attend investment manager calls/meetings to assist with notetaking
• Participate in weekly Private Debt & Equity Committee meetings
• Review fund materials to develop investment recommendation skills
• Assist with due diligence and performance benchmarking tasks
• End of internship capstone project and presentation

Requirements

• Must be a rising senior, working towards a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a genuine interest in investment management, financial markets, and portfolio analysis.
• Client-focused professional who demonstrates integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills, follow-through, and a proactive mindset suited to fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
• Ability to successfully pass criminal background / credit check required.

This is not a remote position. Candidates should expect to be in an HB office 5 days per week. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
