Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ offers a 12-week internship in the Global Market Access (GMAx) division, focusing on Private Market Access (PMA). You will gain exposure to healthcare systems and regulations while assisting with research, data analysis, and execution of strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in health, business, economics, finance, STEM, or related healthcare field.
• Availability to work full-time for up to 12 consecutive weeks starting in May or June 2027.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, Excel-based analytics, and strong presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work both independently and with cross-functional teams on PMA team projects.
• Conduct market research and identify insights to inform strategic recommendations.
• Present findings and proposed approaches to capitalize on private market opportunities.
• Track trends and map evolution of private markets across regions and therapeutic areas.
• Summarize insights and outline actions needed to pursue opportunities with potential partnerships.
