Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Marine mechanic certification a plus but not required.
• Hands-on experience with boat engines (inboard/outboard) preferred.
• Familiarity with marine systems (fuel, electrical, steering, trailers) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Marine Equipment Technician with routine maintenance, service, and repair of boats and other watercraft.
• Support engine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacement, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with hull cleaning, detailing, and cosmetic upkeep of watercraft.
• Help maintain boat lifts, hoists, trailers, and launch equipment in safe order.
• Assist in seasonal preparation and winterization of vessels and equipment.
