Job summary

STXZ Lacrosse is seeking independent lacrosse coaches in Locust Valley, NY. We connect families with coaches, handle client intake and payments, and you coach on a flexible schedule.

You review offers, set your schedule and travel radius, and deliver sessions using your drills and methods. A 1099-NEC is issued for earnings; payouts occur within 24–48 hours after you submit a session briefing.

You control your territory and choose when to coach; no quotas, no penalties for declining offers.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at youth, high school, club, or college level.
• 18 years or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willing to complete a third-party background check before receiving full client details.
• Reliable transportation to training locations in your area.
• Own stick and basic training equipment (cones, balls, etc.).
• Strong communication with families, players, and STXZ team.
• Professionalism and ability to work independently with families and youth athletes.

Responsibilities

• Review client offers and decide whether to accept.
• Contact the client within 24 hours after accepting an offer.
• Run sessions at client homes, local fields, or parks per your schedule.
• Submit a brief lesson briefing on the STXZ platform after each session.
• Get paid in a timely manner for completed sessions.

What you earn

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. Work when you want and pause your availability anytime.

• Your territory.Set your own travel radius, from a few miles to 35 or more.

• Client acquisition.We market the platform and bring families to you.

• Payment processing.We collect from clients and pay you after each session.
• Billing, refunds, and disputes.Our support team handles all of it. You coach.
• Liability coverage.Active coaches are enrolled in STXZ's platform liability coverage program for sessions booked through STXZ. The program fee is $30 per year, and it is $0 down: nothing is due to get started or to begin receiving client offers. The fee is recovered from your first lesson payout once you start coaching. This is limited coverage for platform-booked sessions only; independent coaches may also choose to carry their own personal insurance.

Coaches are engaged as independent contractors and are responsible for their own coaching methods, taxes, and scheduling.
