Job summary

Deep South Investigations in the Greater New Orleans area is hiring field investigators. No experience or degree required; we provide training and a surveillance vehicle to perform covert video surveillance for 8–10 hours per shift, with reports written on observed activities.

This full-time role offers benefits, bonuses, and advancement opportunities. Applicants must be 21+, have a clean criminal and driving history, be prepared to work weekends, and handle Louisiana heat while moving quickly

Qualifications

You will become a licensed and fully‑trained PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR in our Surveillance Department, helping our team fight insurance fraud! These are FULL‑TIME positions only.

Key requirements:

• Live in the Greater New Orleans area
• Have a good driving record
• Are willing to work most weekends (rarely at night)
• Are able to sit still for long periods of time
• Are 21 years of age or older
• Have a clean criminal history & driving record
• Can take the heat and humidity of south Louisiana
• Are able to move quickly from the front of a minivan to the rear
• Have a solid work ethic

The primary function of the Field Investigator is to conduct covert video surveillance from a company‑supplied vehicle for 8‑10 hours at a time, conduct mobile surveillance and write summary reports of all observed activities. Our PI's are our "Field Investigators". They receive all necessary equipment including a surveillance vehicle, a video camcorder, a radio/cell phone, and all necessary field accessories for successful video acquisition. We train you to sneak!
