Job summary
Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home patient care in Jackson, Tennessee. You will perform personal care tasks, monitor vitals, and support patients with mobility and activities of daily living.
The role requires CNA/HHA training, CPR/First Aid where applicable, and adherence to Maxim’s competency and state regulations. Excellent documentation, safety, and compassionate care are essential. Competitive pay and benefits offered.
Qualifications
- Certified nursing assistant/home health aide training completed and compliant with State/Federal regulations.
- Completion of Maxim Clinical Competency Program for home health aides with 80%+ score.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
- Participation in background checks in accordance with Maxim and state requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care: showering, bathing, dressing, etc.
- Record vital signs when ordered (temperature, pulse, resp, BP).
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility devices.
- Perform routine ROM exercises and simple procedures as ordered with demonstrated competency.
