Job summary

A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Private Equity and M&A Attorney for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience advising private equity firms on transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and leveraged buyouts. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $270,000 to $375,000+, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience working on private equity and M&A transactions.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents such as purchase agreements, LLC/LP agreements, and shareholder agreements.
• Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to apply for admission).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to private equity clients on M&A, leveraged buyouts, and corporate matters.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements.
• Advise on management equity arrangements and co-investment arrangements.
