Job summary

Aptura is seeking experienced private equity professionals to create realistic Excel tasks that test AI performance on associate-level modelling. The role is a fully remote independent contractor engagement, with weekly task-based payments and a 4–6 week project window starting immediately.

You will design tasks from real PE work, solve them yourself, and document the correct approach, including clear yes/no grading criteria.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in private equity or growth equity with deal coverage.
• Advanced Excel: LBO modeling, debt schedules, sensitivities, goal seek, circular references.
• Excellent written English and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Write tasks drawn from real PE work: extending existing models, fixing broken ones, and building from a brief.
• Solve each task yourself and document the correct approach.
• Write yes-or-no criteria precise enough for consistent grading.
