Job summary

Resource Management Group is partnering with a leading entity to hire a transformational operational CFO in Detroit. The role supports the CEO in achieving performance objectives and leading a finance organization across multi-site manufacturing operations.

You will drive strategic finance, planning, and reporting processes, partner with PE sponsorship, and ensure robust controls and risk management while shaping a world-class finance function.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior financial leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Senior finance leadership or CFO experience in a multi-plant environment.
• Strong FP&A and transformation leadership experience.
• CPA or MBA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Member of the Executive Leadership Team, helping shape strategy.
• Oversee reporting systems, controls and timely, accurate financial data.
• Lead annual planning and forecasting with rigorous targets.
• Optimize capital structure while maintaining financial flexibility.
• Lead treasury, accounting, and internal controls functions.
• Provide financial and business advisory to CEO and leadership.
• Ensure timely financial reporting to external constituents, incl. PE sponsor.
• Oversee controllership, FP&A, tax, treasury, and internal audit.
