Selby Jennings, in partnership with a leading global asset manager, is hiring a Private Equity Associate for Infrastructure in California. This is a two-year Pre-MBA program with a potential third-year extension based on performance.

The role covers renewable energy, digital infrastructure, transportation, and waste & water investments. You'll build detailed financial models, conduct market research, underwrite new opportunities, and assist with DD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field with strong academic performance
• 1–4 years of investment banking experience in Power & Utilities, Renewable Energy, Transportation, Industrials, or TMT
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Build detailed financial models for infrastructure investments and portfolio opportunities.
• Conduct market and industry research to support deal sourcing and underwrite new opportunities.

Title: Private Equity Associate - Infrastructure

Selby Jennings is currently partnered with a leading global asset manager that is actively seeking to hire a Pre-MBA Associate for their Infrastructure Private Equity team. This is a structured two-year program with the potential for a third-year extension based on performance and team needs. The infrastructure team invests across the capital stack and focuses on a broad range of infrastructure sub-sectors, including renewable energy, digital infrastructure, transportation, and waste & water. The Associate will gain hands-on experience across all stages of the investment process.

Key responsibilities include building detailed financial models, conducting market and industry research, underwriting new investment opportunities, and supporting the due diligence process. The Associate will also help prepare investment committee materials, monitor existing portfolio companies, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.

Qualifications:
