Aptura is a London-based company redefining how AI supports professional work, especially in finance and advisory. We seek a Private Equity AI Researcher who turns PE experience into PowerPoint tasks used to test AI deck-building accuracy.

You will write tasks, build decks from source documents, and design precise checklists to guide automated grading. Role is full-time and remote in India, with emphasis on exactness, testable criteria, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in private equity, growth equity, private credit or corporate development.
• Deep hands-on PowerPoint: native charts, tables and corporate templates.
• Ability to define what a correct deck looks like precisely enough for someone else to grade against it.
• Clear writing. Tasks must be written by you, not by AI tools.
• Attention to detail, and willingness to learn concepts in AI and data.

Responsibilities

• Writing realistic PowerPoint tasks drawn from your own investment and portfolio work: building decks from source documents, filling corporate templates, rolling decks forward and making precise edits
• Working through each task yourself so there is a clear, correct answer
• Writing a yes-or-no checklist precise enough that an AI grader can mark any attempt against it

Role description

We are looking for Subject Matter Experts from private equity, private credit or corporate development who build IC papers, board materials and portfolio updates. You know which slide the committee turns to first, and why AI rarely gets it right.

You have used AI tools on your own work and been frustrated by the mistakes they make, or you simply want to find out how good they really are.

You will turn that experience into realistic PowerPoint tasks that test how well AI do the deck work of an investment associate.

Responsibilities include
