Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors Hamilton is hiring for an in-home tutoring role focused on delivering Florida-aligned academic support. You will design customized learning plans that go beyond memorization and adapt to each student’s needs, while offering remedial and enrichment opportunities to challenge learners.

Ideal candidates hold Florida teaching credentials, are pursuing a Bachelor of Education, and have experience lecturing at a university.

Qualifications

• Currently registered with the Florida Department of Education.
• Qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree.
• Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at a US or Canadian university.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support based on the Florida curriculum.
• Develop customized learning plans that help students truly understand the material, not just memorize it.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to help students who need extra support or a challenge to stretch them further.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them in the loop on progress, struggles, and successes.
