You will design age-appropriate, inquiry-driven science experiences that blend direct teaching, hands-on experiments, project-based learning, and real-world applications, while differentiating for both students and communicating progress to parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, science, or related field.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, homeschool, or youth-education roles.
• Strong knowledge of elementary and/or middle-school science.
• Experience designing hands-on experiments and inquiry-based lessons.
• Ability to plan structured, engaging four-hour learning blocks with movement breaks.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom-management skills.
• Warm, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to communicate regularly with parents about instructional plans, student engagement and progress.

A bachelor’s degree in education, science, or a related field
