Avail Home Health is seeking a Private Duty RN or LPN in Washington State for part-time or full-time work with flexible schedules and 1:1 patient care in patients' homes.

As a Private Duty nurse, you will provide skilled nursing care, maintain accurate charting, and collaborate with families and other healthcare providers to support medically fragile patients while promoting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Washington State
• Current CPR certification
• New graduates are welcome

About Avail Home Health

Founded by a nurse in 1981, we provide one-on-one skilled nursing care throughout Washington State to medically fragile patients in their homes, so they can live with their family in familiar surroundings instead of in a hospital or facility. We are pioneers in the home health nursing field, having brought home the first ventilator-dependent child from Children's Orthopedic Hospital (now Seattle Children's) to live with his family in Yakima. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AS A PRIVATE DUTY REGISTERED NURSE (RN) / LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

As a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are the face of Avail Home Health & Senior Care Management! Most of your time is spent providing skilled nursing care one‑on‑one with them in their homes. Because of you, they are able to be at home with their families, go to school, movies, camp, and more.

Your compassionate presence and positive attitude make a big impact on the patient's whole household. You are careful about keeping the charting up‑to‑date and accurate. You communicate effectively and respectfully with your patient and their family members, collaborating effectively with them and other healthcare providers. You love your job!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PRIVATE DUTY REGISTERED NURSE (RN) / LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Washington State
