Job summary

Knit Together Healthcare in Coldwater, MS is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to provide one-on-one, in-home care for a child under two years old. You will work independently in the home, following physician orders and the plan of care to support health, comfort, and family.

With a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and flexible self-scheduling that fits YOUR life, this private duty position offers weekday and weekend shifts as needed, paid hourly under a 1099 contract.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the child’s condition and promptly communicate changes or concerns.
• Assess pain and discomfort and provide appropriate comfort measures according to the plan of care.
• Perform prescribed nursing interventions and procedures.
• Educate the family and caregivers about the child’s care needs.
• Administer medications and nutrition through the G-tube as ordered.
• Provide airway care and respiratory interventions according to physician orders and the plan of care.
