Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School in Worton, MD is seeking a Private Duty nurse (RN or LPN) to provide one-on-one home care for a 12-year-old with a g-tube. The position offers every-other-weekend daytime shifts in the patient’s home.

Responsibilities include nursing assessment, med administration, and documenting notes as prescribed. Licensing and CPR/BLS are required; training is provided for G-tube/Trach/vent care; pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate compact (MD/Compact)
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Willing to train in G-tube/Trach/vent care as needed
• Pediatric experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely
