Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a qualified private duty nurse to join our Skilled Nursing team in the Poconos region. You will provide compassionate, one-on-one care to clients in their homes, following physicians' orders and documenting care plans accurately.

Travel to client homes is required, with shifts that support daytime and evening hours. A nursing license in good standing is required, plus graduation from an accredited program, to ensure high-quality, reliable home health care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose.
• Hands-on care with only one client per day.
• Build client relationships and watch their milestones.
