First Day Homecare is seeking a skilled nurse to provide 1:1 home-based nursing care in accordance with state laws and medical orders. You will operate under the direction of a medical practitioner and coordinate with the client’s care team across shifts and settings.

The role requires RN or LPN licensure in New Jersey, CPR certification, and strong communication skills; drivers license is required for travel to client homes.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of operation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured as required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Administers care per physician orders and client care plans.
• Documents changes in orders in the medical record per agency procedures.
• Cares for clients with complex needs including pediatric tracheostomy, ventilation, and tube feedings.
• Collaborates with the care team and ensures safety for clients and staff.
• Complies with agency policies and accreditation standards.
• Participates in care coordination and agency meetings as requested.
