Job summary

Best Care Home Services is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty care in the home. The role focuses on patients with complex needs, including tracheostomy care and oxygen therapy.

The position is part-time (20 hours/week) with a flexible schedule and requires SC licensure, CPR/BLS, and reliable transportation. You will document care and coordinate with families and supervising clinicians.

Qualifications

• Current SC RN or LPN license (in good standing).
• Minimum 1 year pediatric experience (especially with trach and oxygen-dependent patients).
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care in the patient’s home.
• Monitor and document vital signs, including oxygen saturation and heart rate.
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and on schedule.
• Perform tracheostomy care, including cleaning and maintenance.
• Provide suctioning as needed to maintain airway patency.
• Administer respiratory treatments, including albuterol treatments.
• Monitor oxygen therapy and ensure proper equipment function.
• Observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the physician and supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Educate and support family members as appropriate.
• Follow all agency policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Location: Rembert, South Carolina

Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday: 2pm-9pm Friday 2pm-8pm

Pay: $28-$30

Position Summary:

Best Care Home Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one private duty care for a pediatric client in the home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with medically fragile children and be comfortable managing respiratory support, including tracheostomy care and oxygen therapy.

This is a one-on-one home care position located in a private residence.

Requirements:

• Current SC RN or LPN license (verified and maintained in good standing)


• Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience (especially with trach and oxygen-dependent patients)


• Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with individualized patient care plans


• Conduct assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient health


• CPR/BLS certification (Required)


• Reliable transportation


• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
