Job summary

Giving Home Health Care in Nacogdoches, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for a 1099 contract to provide in-home patient care under physician plans. You will work one-on-one in the patients home and coordinate with family and care team.

This is a full-time opportunity with 24hr/day coverage; shifts are 8a-8p and 8p-8a, with potential to pick up more hours around the ETX area. The role requires an active RN license, CPR, and TB test as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of RN experience in clinical or home health setting
• Current CPR certification
• Willing to get TB test and maintain required insurance
• Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to patients home

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care
• Document care in the system of record
• Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies
• Perform activities of daily living
• Monitor changes in patients condition and report findings
• Communicate with family, physicians, case managers, and other involved individuals
• Provide one-on-one care in the patients home
• Collaborate with and supervise CNAs and PCAs
• Perform other personal care services as needed

Position: RN (contract)

Location: Nacogdoches, TX

Compensation: $38-40/hour

Hours: Full-Time

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in the Nacogdoches, TX area to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence.

Schedule: This is a Full-Time opportunity for 24hr/day coverage - shift times are 8a-8p and 8p-8a. Potential to pick up more hours around the ETX area as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care
• Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record
• Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies
• Perform various activities associated with daily living
• Monitor for changes in the patient's condition, such as weight loss/gain, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression
• Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the patient's health
• Work with patients is done one-on-one in the patient's home to provide a comfortable environment
• Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants
• Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient's needs

Minimum Qualifications

• Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of experience as an RN in a clinical or home health setting
• Current CPR certification
• Willing to get TB testedMaintain required insurance
• Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient’s home

$40 - $42 an hour

Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.
