Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality in-home nursing care in the Irwin area. You will work with pediatric patients, families, and clinicians to ensure compassionate and competent care directly at the patient’s home.

The role offers flexible scheduling, including days, nights, and weekends, with full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities. Aveanna provides training, 24/7 local support, and a strong culture of diversity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active RN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component.
• TB skin test current within last 12 months.
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide registered nursing care in patients' home environments.
• Collaborate with families and clinicians to ensure safe, effective care.
• Document care activities using Aveanna’s tablet-based system.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
  • Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 60 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
