Job summary

Centria Healthcare in Michigan is hiring certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and home health aides (HHAs) to provide in-home, one-on-one care for adults with spinal cord injury; shifts 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm; pay range $18-20 per hour.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, personal care, monitoring oxygen therapy, documentation on tablets, and following the plan of care with nursing support on shift. We offer benefits and a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care with fall-risk clients.
• Ability to perform personal care tasks
• Reliable, patient and attentive to individual needs
• Comfortable in private home settings
• Proficient in documenting care using tablets/computers

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls
• Provide personal care including hygiene, toileting, and dressing
• Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed
• Document changes promptly and report to supervisor
• Follow care plan and maintain a safe home environment
• Respond to emergencies per procedures
