Job summary

Affirmed Home Care in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide one-on-one private-duty care to clients in their homes across New Brunswick and Middlesex County.

This per diem role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay every Friday, and the chance to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Valid CHHA certification and a driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• CHHA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to drive clients using the client’s vehicle when required.
• Current physical examination.
• PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Help with activities of daily living and medication reminders.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Drive clients using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.
