Job summary

Personal Touch Home Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide for private duty cases in the Southside Virginia area, primarily North Suffolk. The role offers multiple shifts and a sign-on bonus of $1,000, with weekends possible and in-home patient care.

Responsibilities include personal care, hygiene, mobility assistance, light housekeeping and accurate daily documentation. Must have CNA license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Completed CNA training program and licensed to practice as a Certified Nurse Aide.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with patients, families and supervising staff.
• Demonstrates reliability, initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Empathetic and patient-focused with a passion for home-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Prepare and serve simple meals and maintain a clean living area.
• Document care activities and report changes to supervising nurse.
• Coordinate with family and healthcare team for patient needs.
