Visiting Angels of Evansville is seeking Private Duty Caregivers to serve clients across Vanderburgh, Princeton, Mt. Vernon, Newburgh, and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver''s license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management; able to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties within dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with state/office health and safety standards (background check).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client''s day.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and supportive presence.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility at home and during appointments.
