Job summary

Masonicare at Home in Connecticut is hiring Private Duty Caregivers for live-in or hourly live-out work across the state, including Wallingford and other CT towns. Shifts range from 3 to 12 hours with a 3-hour minimum for hourly work. Per Diem positions are available.

Caregivers provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and medication reminders, with CNA certification paid by the employer. Training is provided and no prior homecare experience is required.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Willingness to learn and follow training.
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts, 2+ days per week.
• Day shift and weekend day shift availability.
• Private duty/homecare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conversation and companionship to clients.
• Light housekeeping and laundry assistance.
• Meal preparation and running errands as needed.
• Medication reminders and assistance with routines.
• Bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers assistance.
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments when needed.
• Support activities to keep clients safe and engaged at home.
