Job summary

Hum Capital in the United States is seeking an experienced lending and financial origination professional to source, qualify, and develop financing opportunities with established businesses seeking non-dilutive capital. This role requires strong credit knowledge, ability to engage executives, and track record in private credit or commercial lending.

You will build relationships with brokers and referral partners and drive opportunities through Hum's investment and deal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in lending, financial origination, or capital markets.
• Proven ability to engage with CEOs/CFOs and assess financing needs.
• Experience working with brokers, bankers, and other intermediaries.
• Strong understanding of credit fundamentals and financial statements.
• Ability to manage deal flow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Originate and qualify lending opportunities with private companies.
• Engage with CEOs and CFOs to understand capital needs and financing objectives.
• Discuss revenue, profitability, debt capacity, and use of proceeds.
• Collaborate with investment and deal teams to advance opportunities.
• Manage inbound/outbound deal flow and maintain Salesforce pipeline.
