The Equus Group is seeking a Private Credit Associate in Chicago to join a collaborative investment team. You will support underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in investment banking or an investment fund with strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to deal execution. This is an entrepreneurial role with exposure to growth opportunities and senior leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• 2+ years in investment banking or investment funds.
• Experience in private credit, mezzanine debt, or private equity preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
• Develop investment theses through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Perform financial analysis, credit underwriting, and valuation.
• Build detailed financial models to support underwriting.
• Coordinate due diligence with internal and external teams.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentations.
• Monitor portfolio companies and identify growth opportunities.
