Job summary

Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club seeks a full-time server to provide exceptional service to members and guests. You will serve food and wine, manage orders in the POS, and ensure seamless service from welcome to farewell.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food handler’s card and Responsible Beverage Service certification.
• 1 year in a restaurant preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serves food and wine to assigned tables throughout their shift.
• Inputs all orders into the POS system promptly, following SHGCC standards.
• Works with the team to complete all the steps of service for every table including drinks, starters, entrée, dessert, and any other requests.
• Welcomes members and their guests warmly and bids them farewell.
• Keeps a positive attitude during busy or stressful moments.
• Sets up dining room areas prior to service and resets for the next day.
• Understands and is knowledgeable on food and beverage items, including specials.
• Ensures accuracy of orders, cleanliness of tables, and prompt delivery.
