BCG Attorney Search in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Private Client Services Associate Attorney with 4–6 years of transactional experience in trust and estate planning and administration. The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor (JD) and be admitted to the Illinois Bar; an LL.M. in tax is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant transactional experience in trust and estate planning.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• LL.M. in tax preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals and families with estate and tax planning techniques.
• Create and administer family offices and complex estates.
• Administer, decant, and modify trusts.
• Plan with respect to business interests, art, and unusual assets.
• Analyze complex transfer tax issues.
• Handle tax controversy matters before the IRS.
