Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Private Client Banker to manage the full client relationship for high-net-worth individuals, guiding financial wellness with plan-based advice. You will deliver suitable investment and insurance solutions and coordinate with Retail, Private Bank and other Key partners.

The role emphasizes building a strong referral network, maintaining knowledge of private client products, and opening both personal and business accounts while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining customer relationships and meeting sales goals.
• Foundational knowledge of sales techniques including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting and networking.
• Ability to interact with small business clients, overcome objections, and ask fact-finding questions.
• Influencing partners across lines of business and leveraging centers of influence is essential.
• Proficient with PCs and digital platforms; able to educate clients on digital capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a referral pipeline with internal and external centers of influence.
• Prospects and documents calling efforts to grow client base.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of private client products and services to enable financial wellness conversations.
• Opens personal and business accounts and supports branch operations as needed.
• Collaborates with branch teammates and business partners to acquire and deepen client relationships.
