Job summary

Chase is seeking a Private Client Banker to join our branch team in Michigan. You will manage a select group of affluent clients, delivering high-touch relationship management and a proactive advisory approach to grow their balances.

As part of JPMorgan Chase, you will educate clients on technology tools (Chase Mobile App, Chase.com) and coordinate with a team of specialists to address complex financial needs, while adhering to regulatory and risk requirements and branch hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in Financial Services sales with proven success in acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and revenue generation.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for clients and elevate the client experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Actively manage assigned clients and their banking relationships through an advice-based approach to recommend the best products and services for their financial needs.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
