Eide Bailly in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking an accounting professional to deliver comprehensive accounting services for multi-generational clients in an in-office setting. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, reconcile bank accounts, and prepare financial statements and filings for clients.

You will support senior staff with analysis, maintain real-time records using technology, and foster strong client relationships while seeking efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Excel and accounting software including QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive accounting services for multi-generational clients.

A Day in the Life:

• Works on a team to deliver comprehensive accounting services tailored to multi-generational client needs.
• Manages day-to-day accounting operations for clients, acting as an extension of their internal accounting department.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for clients on routine accounting matters, fostering strong, service-oriented relationships across generations.
• Leverages secure technology solutions to maintain real-time, accurate accounting records.
• Collaborates with internal tax experts to deliver customized solutions to clients.
• Performs timely reconciliation of client bank accounts to ensure financial integrity.
• Executes month-end balancing and journal entries, providing detailed analysis of general ledger accounts to support Seniors/Managers during the closing process.
• Prepares reports and filings—including sales tax reports, year-end tax forms, and monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
• Provides Senior/Manager with analysis of accounting data to enable strategic, high-level advisory services for family enterprises.
• Identifies and recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
• Offers backup support to other staff, ensuring continuity of service for clients.
• Contributes to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities to deliver additional value to clients, reinforcing long-term, multi-generational partnerships.
• Supports Private Client Solutions team in fulfilling client-directed special projects, ensuring responsiveness and excellence across a wide range of needs—not limited to accounting services—to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
• Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.

Who You Are:

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of general ledger accounting principles, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality for complex, multi-generational family structures.
• Ability to think innovatively to incorporate technology solutions and streamlined processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
• Proven relationship-building skills, fostering long-term partnerships with clients and internal teams while maintaining discretion and sensitivity to family dynamics.
• High proficiency in technology and accounting platforms, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), QuickBooks, and other specialized software.

Compensation(as applicable)

$25.00-$32.00 per hour. Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive andequitablepay. Eide Baillycomplies withall local/state regulationsregarding displayingranges.Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
