Job description

Overview

At Johnson Financial Group, we believe financial services should feel personal, purposeful and built for the long term. As a family-owned, privately held financial services company with deep Wisconsin roots, we combine the capabilities and expertise of a larger institution with the relationship-driven service, local decision-making and genuine care of a community bank. Our associates are empowered to make a meaningful impact for clients, colleagues and the communities we serve.

We are looking for a Private Client Services Relationship Manager who is energized by building trusted relationships, solving complex financial needs and helping high-net-worth clients feel confident about their future. In this role, you will serve as the lead relationship manager for some of our most valued Private Banking clients, bringing together banking, wealth, mortgage, brokerage and commercial expertise through one coordinated JFG team.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute an individual business plan that drives target-market client acquisition, portfolio growth, business line referrals, product penetration, client retention and revenue growth across the Private Client Services segment.
  • Grow core banking portfolios by expanding loan and deposit relationships, increasing revenue opportunities and strengthening long-term client value.
  • Deliver a distinctive, relationship-centered client experience by understanding each client’s financial objectives through purposeful discovery and proactive needs assessments.
  • Serve as the lead relationship manager for high-net-worth Private Banking clients, coordinating JFG partners to provide integrated banking, wealth, mortgage, brokerage, commercial banking, investment management, financial planning and advisory solutions.
  • Act as a confident advisor who can clearly articulate JFG’s full breadth of offerings, financial planning concepts, industry trends and solutions that matter to clients.
  • Match prospect and client needs with the right JFG business partners to close new business, deepen relationships and deliver a seamless OneJFG client experience.
  • Manage complex deposit and credit solutions from start to finish, including communication, implementation, maintenance and ongoing administration of the complete client relationship.
  • Execute JFG’s comprehensive sales process through successful prospecting, planning, persuasive and tailored sales presentations, joint calling with Wealth Management Advisors and outreach to target segments, prospects and centers of influence.
  • Use sound judgment, innovation, creativity and JFG’s CRM system to manage relationships, track activity and support timely follow-through.
  • Represent JFG through active and meaningful involvement in community and industry organizations, helping strengthen local relationships and expand our presence in the markets we serve.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, business management or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Six or more years of experience in the financial industry, ideally in a client-facing business development or relationship management role.
  • Strong credit knowledge, including cash flow management, balance sheet, income statement and tax return analysis.
  • A consultative, relationship-first approach with the ability to uncover client needs and connect them with the right solutions.
  • Ideal, but not required; Series 65, 66 or CFP.
  • Advanced designation of CFP, CWS, CFTA, CFA, ChFC, CPA or JD required for experienced Private Client Services Relationship Managers; financial planning experience is preferred in partnership with Wealth Management Advisors.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to effectively use JFG operating systems.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System registration under the terms of the SAFE Act of 2008 required.
Come as you are.
