Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in New York is seeking a Private Client Banker to serve affluent clients and manage complete banking relationships across the company. You will actively solicit referrals and collaborate with internal sources to grow client balances.

You will work in a branch setting, providing education and advising tailored to clients' financial needs while adhering to regulatory requirements and offering self-service options.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
• 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating, and maintaining customer relationships and revenue generation.
• SIE exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses required or completed within 180 days.
• Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Shares the value of Chase Private Client with clients that may be eligible.
• Actively manages their banking relationship through an advice-based approach, ensuring each client receives the best products and services for their needs.
• Partners with Specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers and Business Relationship Managers) to connect customers to experts who can help them with specialized financial needs.
• Makes lives of clients more convenient by sharing and setting up self-service options to access their accounts 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
